Do you feel like you are drifting in life?
There are times in life when we drift off course, we lose our way, and we drift off the path that God has designed for us. A few weeks ago, I traveled with my daughter and 10-month-old grandson to Jekyll Island. I was able to spend time at Driftwood Beach and let me tell you, it was a beautiful sight to see. For me, it was another reminder of God’s awesomeness!
Gazing at the untouched beauty of those gnarly pines and massive oak trees, I stood entranced. It was if my feet were glued in the sand where those ages old trees had fallen and decayed over time; steps away from the strong waves that crashed against the rocky shoreline.
Standing there, I couldn’t help but to think about this journey called life. This journey we are on can be rocky and at times unbearable, but guess what? This is not how your story will end. God is bringing you back, things are coming back together and you will end up on the path he’s designed for you.
Don’t worry about your past hurts or mistakes. It’s all part of the process. God is getting ready to do something amazing in your life.
You’re going to drift right back to the place you’re supposed to be.
Meanwhile…
Get to know yourself.
Stop making excuses.
Be patient.
